$100 Budget Campervan Conversion – Turn a mini van into a camper for cheap

August 1, 2016October 17, 2017 Pete 1 Comment Blog

My girlfriend and I spent the majority of this year living in a campervan in Australia that I converted from a regular old Toyota Tarago mini van. We didn’t want to sink too much money into a van we’d only be living in temporarily, so we figured out a very cheap and easy way to […]

#VANLIFE! Amanda and I are on our epic Australian roadtrip, and we’re living out of a Toyota Tarago mini van that we converted into a basic camper ourselves. So far, living in “Maggie” the van has been a ton of fun, and we’ve found that there’s no better way to travel around Australia than in […]

Happy Australia Day from Down Under! Just a few weeks ago, my girlfriend Amanda and I moved to Australia on our Working Holiday Visas. We arrived on New Year’s Eve, and were greeted by the world famous Sydney Harbor Fireworks. It’s been very busy — we rented a room in a flat in Sydney (shared […]

Happy Inauguration Day! Here I am at the Capitol 1 Happy Inauguration Day! Here I am at the Capitol 12 years ago, looking forward to some hope and change. The world feels a whole lot different right now, but I’m feeling hopeful once again today.
This is Hildegard, my family’s last surviving ch This is Hildegard, my family’s last surviving chicken. She’s over ten years old. About a decade ago, we had around 30 egg-laying chickens, and they’ve gradually died off over the years. This winter, Hildegard was the last chicken remaining, so my mother moved her from the coop into the house. She spends most of her days in an oversized dog kennel, full of food. Hildegard seems to be extremely happy living her retirement years in the warm house - so much so that she has started laying eggs again! It’s been years since she laid any. My mom makes sure to let her out a couple times a day for some exercise.🐓
